Kirkwood Ag Day

All members who will be competing in a CDE at the state level, receiving their Iowa Degree, or participating in any event such as Band, Chorus, Talent or
Courtesy Corps will be allowed to attend. FFA members as well as guests from across their respective states gather and learn about careers in the agriculture industry, compete for scholarships, expand their knowledge, volunteer in the community and shape the future of their state FFA Association.

Members can apply for scholarships at the local, district, state and national levels of FFA.

At National Convention FFA members and guests from across the country participate in general sessions, competitive events, educational tours, leadership workshops, expos and shop at the FFA shopping mall, volunteer activities and more.

High School agriculture education members have the opportunity to attend this event and learn what agriculture programs the community colleges offer. Students in grades 9-12 are able to attend. It is held each year in May.

This is an event for Greenhands, first year members, to learn about FFA
and get fired up for the years to come! Members have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of FFA while meeting lifelong friends.

Members can potentially compete in a CDE at Sub-District, District, State, and National Conventions. Members should follow rules outlined on the state or national FFA website.
