DeWitt Central FFA
Sentinel, Stationed by the Door
My SAE project is being a farm hand for a local farmer. There I washed equipment, learned how to properly change oil in equipment, and learned how to operate the equipment. I also learned how to haul manure, read cattle rations, and vaccinate cattle. I also learned how to vaccinate piglets, farrow sows, and learned how to properly sanitize and wash out a farrowing barn. My favorite part is learning new things about a farm.
The reason that I became involved in FFA is because you can meet new people, and I wanted to learn real world knowledge.
